In 1983 Camomilla Milano created a storm within the fashion world. The 1980s was an era when women were associated with strength. Black was the color of choice for fashion and shoulder pads gave women’s silhouettes sharp angles. Amongst this, Camomilla offered a label in contrast to the status-quo and reintroduced floral patterns, romantic iconography and pastel colors. Femininity became the identity of the brand and bows became an indispensable motif across the line. Now run by the sons of the brand’s founders, this Italian fashion house continues to uphold feminine values and entrepreneurial ideals. In 2008, the brand celebrated its 25th year and expanded into international markets. The Camomilla signature style features oversized bows, flowers, pastel colors and polka dots.
